The chihua-wah versus the roid-weiler at the dog park can't get along. You don't' leave your three-year-old in the path of a speeding cyclist who can run him over. You don't pick random fights with huge roid rage cyclists when you are holding a three-year-old and are built like Bill Gates. You don't film your friend acting sassy and entitled with a man twice his size waiting for him to get punched in the head. On the other hand, it is very dangerous having these cyclists hurtling along trails where there are babies, elderly, small dogs, and others who could be really hurt if run into. The cyclist could have pedaled on, the entitled parents could have said excuse me and moved on, but no, they both had to act like they haven't been properly socialized and cause a dangerous situation for themselves and their children.

The man left his toddler sitting in the path of a cyclist when a pack of cyclists just chased the children off the path. Maybe walk with them in the grass where it is safer and hold their hands. He started this whole confrontation trying to make the cyclist stop for his child.

He is obviously mentally ill and then the meds make people act violent and irrational. I don't know if he was a veteran of the war in the Mideast/Afghanistan, but that is another contributing factor to domestic violence. They want to act like it was out of the blue, but she told her sister and the father said 98% his son did it. The family knew more than they let on, but they want to act like it was a big surprise. I think they wanted to wash their hands of it and let strong Amber deal with it alone. There has to be some way the parents raised a daughter who needed to fix the severely mentally ill and violent at her own expense, and to raise a son that they expected could murder his wife and child from a fit of rage. If the father knew he was that dangerous, why didn't he step in sooner and maybe object to the marriage even? I think the parents precipitated this in their own ways by being dysfunctional and then expecting the children to carry on like everything is fine. I think Richard is genuinely sorry and broken about it, I think he was crying because of what he did and that she was gone. I think he really couldn't control himself in that moment for whatever was making him so angry. Not saying he is a good person, but he is obviously very sick and out of control of himself.
