  5. I would stop shipping to the USA. Maybe China can ship through the Panama Canal directly to France and it will be cheaper. I used to wonder what the Bible meant when it said, Babylon the Great is fallen, no more will people trade with her and receive her riches. This is how it is happening, tariffs. In one hour it will fall, like a stock market crash. Trump is causing it. He is the man of perdition. Revelation 18. I wonder. The whole chapter makes it sound a lot worse though.

  6. @ If it is this, or if it is that, but which is it? He said he would barely make a profit after paying the tariff. So pay it time, and then buy and sell locally if you can. Maybe he can't. Then he will be out of business. The person with the skincare line, they have to pay these higher tariffs after it already shipped? If they have no money, doesn't it just get shipped back? Who pays the return shipping fee? Wouldn't the seller have to? Does the stuff just wind up in the port at lost and found? So in that case, wouldn't it be better for the seller to just pay the tariff? Who gets billed if no one can pay?

  8.  @skyeiv8471  The importer should then stop importing. I guess figure out a payment plan for the tariffs and get their stuff and then quit. But on the way out of the country there are also counter tariffs at the receiving ports.

  10.  @Dxn6alc03Belod7m1o  Well shouldn't the tariffs be prorated to start being billed at the ports for those products ordered after the start date? At least? It seems like a lot of merchandise is going to be abandoned at the ports. Do the buyers get in trouble if they can't pay like they aren't paying their debts? Are they going to be sued?
