  1. A shelter isn't really a solution though. If you tell the lady, it is the shelter or jail, not shelter or the beach, maybe she will go to the shelter. People don't feel safe in the shelters. The real solution is a permanent room somewhere. Like one lady said, the put her in a hotel a few days and then back out, so it doesn't help. These people need their owns places. Not tiny house prison barracks either. They need legitimate permanent residences. Until that is available, this problem won't go away. I feel like Newsome is out of touch or else he has a hidden agenda. Maybe they really want to sweep these people off the face of the earth. There are rumors that people die in the shelters.

  2. That is very strange and also that one man has been on a section 8 voucher list for 20 years. It seems like they are keeping some people down.
