The rich hogging the sidewalk instead of the poor. What is the difference? Maybe if they were nice and just left comfortable benches up, the homeless could sleep on the bench at night and move along during the day like they used to. Now that everything is homeless hostile, they need to pitch a tent with their comforts in it so that they have a place to lie down, and the tent encourages them to put more and more stuff there until it is a little community of campers. If he was so helpful to the poor, how come they don't want to stay in his center. Maybe he could offer the campers on his property money to never camp there again. Maybe get them security and first month's rent on an apartment to move them along. Apartment living is not easy though, and some people are more acclimated to the streets.

@mikeg3439 That sounds like a cop out. There are plenty of countries that make sure their people are housed and not lolling all over the streets. People have a need for shelter. If some need help coping with staying in a permanent place, that is one thing, but just to say well they won't take good care of it, sounds like an excuse to not even give them that much of a chance.
