Trailer parks were a viable option for years until investors and corporate interests got involved. Then it went from a private business to a wealth building speculation vehicle and the residents are now just collateral damage. It isn't the residents' fault that their landlords retired or got enticed by huge landgrab monetary offers. The park should pay for a fallen tree. They are responsible for the infrastructure which includes large trees. Throwing people out for storm debris that wasn't collected is also wrong. They are responsible for removing debris. These people need to go to court and stand up for themselves. These attorneys are crooked and will skew laws in the landlords'' favor.

His problem is that he goes along with the program. What if he took their little MC and went to a health food store and got a sandwich and a smoothie? What will they do, lock him up for not eating their prescribed junk food? How can they tell him where to eat and shop, and it is all junky unhealthy food anyway? He has more lucidity when he speaks than that crooked no good lawyer that is lying about him. He shows no signs of dementia or alcoholism.

It isn't legal to do this. Let the landlord try to evict you. It is unreasonable seizure of property. These seniors are not financially lax. They saved and are being put in predicaments of poverty that they didn't contribute to. Don't let these corporations just whisk you away with nowhere to go. At least stand up for yourself in court and make a fool of them.

That is a smart guy. You could invest the 7 grand a year and earn interest on it also. Keeping it dedicated for repairs as if it is insurance makes sense. You get the money right away, and you don't risk them turning you down. You can use it to rent or do whatever you want.

He should sue Fletcher for all his money back and then damages for pain and suffering. His lawyer can file the papers. That will teach these dirty lawyers to lay off people's money with their lies.
3
Probably. You could put it into a CD or money market fund.

How do landlords justify such huge rent increases? Don't they want to keep good stable tenants? Don't they have to spend time and money refurbishing before they can rerent? The rich people are going to eventually move out and get their own places. The low income people are the ones who will stay long term. I think there has to be rent control to keep society from being turned upside down. The only way you can keep a mix of people necessary to the functioning of the economies is to make sure they have stable housing through rent control. If it weren't for rent control in NYC, it would be an island of the rich. I think landlords do have a social responsibility and not just a responsibility to themselves to get all the money they can. If you do good to others, especially the poor, you will be rewarded in ways that money can't even buy.

The third-party ticket worked the next day. Maybe United can't make up its mind whether they are taking tickets from that agency or not.

It is because the mother signed adoption papers and they didn't bother to consult the father because they weren't married.

It is from dirty toilet paper in her waste basket. She probably needs a closed diaper pail for that in the meantime.

He never had her to support. He has a bedroom for her, that is support.

People make mistakes. I am sure you made some dumb mistakes. Should you be run out on the street for it?

Affordable housing is a human right. No person should be unhoused. If Russia could do it, why can't the USA? Or why won't they? So many people here decry as socialist any aid to the ordinary citizen who isn't some wealthy tycoon. How is that helping anyone but the rich to get more and more of what others need? If you live in a society, you do have an obligation to give back to it.

I think the poop won't go down. Toilet paper dissolves faster than hard poop.

She still hasn't gotten her life insurance money? Maybe the lawyer she hired took it. It doesn't make any sense. Why buy life insurance if they harass the people left behind over messed up papers? They are supposed to help with the papers. You get a lot of companies who just hire agents from anywhere in the world who couldn't care less about Americans and don't know or care what kind of help they expect. They are probably jealous that Americans have access to money at all or they are some thugs who just want to be belligerent to people who are vulnerable. Can she report them to the BBB? How about the state department of insurance or consumer affairs? That is just the way it is isn't an answer. I think when people are old, other people want to laugh at them struggling instead of helping them. At least she managed to sell her house. It isn't like she is stupid or senile, it is just that people don't want to cooperate.

How do you go about booking something like that?

Someone rich and powerful wants that baby because she is cute and probably nice like her family. That lawyer they hired looks expensive and like she has some inside privilege with the courts. This simple humble man with a whiny infective attorney doesn't stand a chance. He is more low income, so his opinion is worth less with the courts and with these agencies. That is all it is, class discrimination again. People pay a lot of money for babies to adopt. DYFS and CPS is an industry to skim money off allegedly helping the families they mostly destroy just like with the homeless service agencies and the drug abatement programs. They all get a lot of money to make things worse than anyone could imagine. Maybe they think he is some kind of low life for getting a young crackhead pregnant. Maybe he hired her as a hooker. He isn't great looking, so maybe he was desperate. Anyway, he has the money, he has the desire, he has the family and the right by blood. They want to override that. He should study those court papers to see what they are saying against him. They will make up wild stories to make the parent look bad.

One less thing to worry about, eh?

She should sue them and make them either fix it or buy back her home. That is a violation of the sale. It wasn't sold as is, it was sold under the assumption that everything worked. Sue them for the value of the house, moving expenses, and pain and suffering. They tell you that nonsense about toilet paper and crumbs when the pipes are laid wrong and cant drain the water. I don't know how much it would cost to fix it, but she should let her friend do it and then bill the company who sold it to her like that. I wonder if they just take advantage of elderly women thinking that they won't have the strength to fight back, so they can cut corners and not take the time to put in the pipes properly. She needs an estimate of what it will cost to repair it and then sue the company for that much or just make them buy back her house.

People sell property to their family all the time for low amounts even $1. It is none of their business how much she sold it to her grandnephew for. Also, it is hearsay and inadmissible evidence that she doesn't want to see Gedi. If she isn't appearing in court, then whatever that guardian says that she said should be stricken from the record. Just for a real estate sale, that is one aggressive agent. I hate overly aggressive agents. They pretend to be your friend just to make money. Obviously, the owner was close to her grandnephew. This agent just wormed her way into her life for money.

I would pay extra for insurance with cooperative and helpful agents who don't have a condescending attitude. That makes all the difference when you need help and not more headaches.

This is what Britney Spears is going through. These guardianships are like personal dictatorships. People can be so taken advantage of. Who guards the guardians? Also just because she was elderly and in a car accident, they said she was demented. That is age discrimination. Honestly don't give anyone power of attorney, and if you have someone suddenly wanting to help you, be careful of who they are. They may just want to run you out of your home and take over your life. I have seen it happen to the elderly more than once. One lady lost her home and dog to this assistant that suddenly appeared. The other was so isolated in her own home by some handyman who moved in and brought a girlfriend who she couldn't get to leave that she died of the stress. This happens a lot to the elderly. They are seen as useless and a source of income to these degenerate opportunistic bums.

If she had a high pressure toilet, it might help the toilets, but what about the sinks?

Oh they were doing some sort of inside favor for a VIP maybe? How tacky and unfair.

@@listenupfoolio The value of the property is mostly in the land itself.

It was made in 2008 and still hasn't been paid off for only $35,000? I wonder if her children could just pool together some money and pay off what is left. Then the asset of the house would be secure. She is only getting older, so it will be harder for her to keep track of bills. These vultures will swoop in and take the house without any concern of what is going on with the resident. I heard Chinese companies actually own a lot of US mortgage debt. What if all the Chinese nationals swarming over the border now will then get to occupy these homes? This is a crazy set up at the expense of Americans. No more personal relationships with the banks and loan officers. All debt is just a financial tool now. it is a wrench for the rich to enrich themselves and impoverish the poor. She wouldn't survive without that house. You can tell she was in a panic. It could have taken years off her life all the stress.
