Then the asset of the house would be secure. She is only getting older, so it will be harder for her to keep track of bills. No more personal relationships with the banks and loan officers. All debt is just a financial tool now. it is a wrench for the rich to enrich themselves and impoverish the poor. She wouldn't survive without that house. You can tell she was in a panic. It could have taken years off her life all the stress.
