  1. Annette made it because her husband is supportive. Barb and Tink made it because they are independent and resourceful. The forklift operator keeps trying to better herself but doens't have much imagination. Bob is like going down fast. He seems like he might end up blowing his brains out. They have to stop putting him down. It is very depressing listening to him. I think he has to stop looking for the easy way out. He could maybe get another job in finance, management, etc. He is in a huge city. I think he is just feeling so down and his family makes it worse.

  2. I don't know if it is the reporting angle, but this story is beyond stupid. They sound like spoiled ungrateful whiners. If the company lured him out to just dump him, why don't they just go back to NJ where they were happy living a modest life? They need to all get over themselves. The father needs to take a job doing what he can, and if the wife's parents treat them like garbage, then tell them to keep their money and just make it on their own. You don't need to live in Lake Forest or whatever they are in. Move back to some NJ suburb and stop worrying what your car looks like. Be happy you even have one. The dopey father needs to stop feeling like a failure. Just use your knowledge to get a job in any related industry. He must be smart if they got that far. I t hink he can do better than part time sweeping a floor. The rest of the family needs to stop blaming him and be grateful he is making their lunches and being their chauffeur.
