  1. The churches used to stay open 24 hours and people who were homeless could go in and sleep on the pews. Those are nice benches to sleep on. That is wrong that they are causing homeless to die from lack of shelter. What good does camping gear do if you can't camp, good point. That must be so stressful and terrifying to wander all night not knowing if you can stay warm enough to live. Regulations need to be ignored and fought in these situations. If the church just leaves the sanctuary open and the homeless find out by word of mouth, no one has to know about it in the government who would rather see people die. Even staying in a drafty apartment is stressful, but being out in this must be unbearable.

  2. Portland lured people there with services and then just says it is time to go when they need help the most? They throw them out into the cold? Why not let them sleep on the floors and in the halls? How can there be no room at all? They lured them there to kill them like in the Nazi ghettos? This is despicable. They are not druggies, bums, mentally ill . . . they are human beings. They wouldn't leave dogs out in the cold without being fined, but they can throw people out to their deaths? Suddenly all the warming centers are just closed, but never for the migrants huh? They are destroying Americans on purpose.
