  1. They had these in the Port Authority decades ago. They were so useless and uncomfortable that they brought back metal chairs with armrests in between each seat. They are made of metal and have holes punched in them. They aren't comfortable, but at least you are sitting. Leaning against a little flap of plastic isn't useful if you are exhausted after walking around all day. They seemingly want to make sure that the homeless have no way of resting. Better on a nice bench or chair than on the floor where you could trip over them.
