  1. They ordered the management company to maintain the building in pristine condition and paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars but never went to check up on them? What kind of company does that? They are LYING. The city even sent them notice a year ago that the building was going to be condemned for lack of maintenance. They weren't taken by surprise; they knew all along. They probably planned this out to get rid of low-income tenants before renovating and then charging three times the rent.
