It is like this. When you are really smart, you see things that others don't want you to know about them. It makes them uncomfortable so they shun you. Then maybe some people turn anti-social and develop personality disorders, and some people just feel lonely and miserable. Then they have to learn to make themselves happy. Even if you are the most tolerant accepting person, other people won't tolerate you because you aren't just stupidly going along with them. You have to end up with really freaky people or just no people because the freaks are dangerous. Psychologists say you need to have people in your life but do you? Being around people who hate you and who you can't be yourself around seems worse. That is why it is better to be out in the country, there are fewer people judging you and giving you a hard time. They are more desperate to meet people too because there are fewer around. That gives you more of a chance.
