  3. I think the cops shot him because they were hyped up and scared. The cop said he wanted to go home alive. That is all they care about. You can't shoot yourself with a rifle, it is too long. They went in there all hysterical and aggressive. This man was having an episode, he needed calm and rational people to deal with him. He was only shooting people who were running. I think he was frustrated by lack of connection with others. When you deal with trashy people like those walking around Walmart thinking they are too good for you and wanting to avoid you like you are a threat, that can get to you. Then if he is a psych patient on meds, that can erode yourself control and insight to the point where you just act on impulse. It is a side effect of medication. This country is seriously lacking in human communication on a genuine level. People treat each other as opponents or teammates. It can get overwhelming.
