The whole mystique of Hollywood and celebrity status is that it seems that these people can say and do things that other people feel entitled to say and do and want to but are scared to. It separates people into two camps, the celebrated and free, and those enslaved and waiting for permission to act. That is the demonic aspect of the situation. Instead of feeling inspired to act, it makes you feel scared to act. I didn't know anyone who acted like anyone on these shows except maybe the daughters in One Day at a Time or Redd Foxx. I know old tough guys like Fred Sandford who will say and do just about anything no matter who is around. Maybe they are a dying breed at this point. There are a lot of forces at play besides the producer in the message of a show in the end. You take the good with the bad as in all things.
