Then the temple tithe was to support the Levites who couldn't farm because they were working at the temple. Now the temple is the body of the believer, so there is no need to tithe to anyone else.

The Bible says give as your are able from the ABUNDANCE God has given you and with a joyful heart. It doesn't say to give to plant a seed of money and watch it grow like a stock offering. They make God sound like the bank of faith. The Bible is more like saying don't be greedy, if you have enough, help others because it is better to give than to receive. How does sending money to a millionaire help God or yourself? It is helping her. What is she doing with the money, feeding the starving people of Gaza and fixing their wells and their homes? No she is supporting the regime who is causing these people to fall into dire poverty for no reason. Why she married a rock star after divorcing her husband, I don't know. Maybe she wants to be a rock star type celebrity. Taking advantage of the desperation of the poor is going to be noted by God. Some people need to worry about paying their bills and not buying into the blessings stock market. These people should be asking for help from the church, not giving it when they don't have enough.
