The boy looks really disturbed. I don't blame him. I can see why he gets picked on. He looks like a nervous wreck, all disheveled, no self-confidence, and the dad looks like a real absentee aloof father. He is watching TV in his underpants and can't even be bothered to get dressed to answer the door for police. Then the whole time they are interviewing his son about a felony, he is still nursing a beer, casually leaning on the wall like it is all just a night at the bar. The son needed real attention and help. I am not saying he shot up the school, but the dad seems like he was facilitating the whole scenario to unfold.
