  1. It looks like the spirit of greed and money is all over Hawaii. I guess the spirit of aloha is a native thing, that is why it was on Maui where they all got burnt out so that more rich people could acquire acreage. Even if they put that lady in a shelter, her problems aren't over. Where will she end up living? Can you do a follow up on what became of her? I think the problem isn't drugs or mental illness, it is a lack of respect for other human beings. Some have less than nothing, and others have so much that they don't want to deal with the rest of the people at all. They don't want to include them in community. Why isn't there running water and services to help them? Parks used to have water fountains, benches, bathrooms, shady trees, picnic tables, grills, etc. Now they are with everything turned off and removed. Even the garbage service is removed. What are people supposed to do outdoors? That is why it ends up looking so bad and they sink lower and lower into depravity.
