  1. The poor have to live somewhere. If they are breaking laws, the police are supposed handle it. Maybe they need police stationed around the camp to make sure there is no illegal pooping going on. The drug rehab guy has a point, but there will always be temptations. It is the client's choice whether to go into the camp and run the risk of temptation. These aren't little children; they are grown adults who sought drugs anyway. It isn't because of a homeless camp that they became addicted. People put up fences for deer. Maybe the lady could put up a cage for her squash. Maybe they need some port a potties in the camp. It sounds like a rough neighborhood. Maybe it wasn't even the homeless stealing cars and things out of garages. They can put up security cameras and keep everything locked.
