@biaberg3448 I watched the first video now. He was very happy for her getting the computer and gave Sergei potatoes to hand out to the poor. People are just gossiping, and he is afraid of them.

He doesn't seem like he is abusing her to me. I didn't see the first episode about them. She seems mentally healthy.

@haddiewillsburg1453 They have separate beds. Why would he be sleeping with her? He has his bed catty corner to hers. They are poor and sleep in two rooms. Usually if a child is being sexually harassed you can tell. They are very awkward and withdrawn or overly sexualized. This girl has a normal demeanor.

If you live in a small rural area, the people around you can seem like your whole world. If they get to gossiping, it can make life very hard. Sergei is like well just ignore it, but that is probably easier to do in a big city with many different people like in Kaluga where he lives. I like how he argued it out with the father though. He didn't just leave it at a bitter understanding.

She looked like a little princess in the pink dress. I think the father is just very insecure. It was nice that they got to have a fun day out in the city buying clothes and having an exotic lunch. That was a pretty intense argument with the father. At least he admits that he might have been wrong. He is caught up in gossip, but he gossips also. They all seem to know each other's business. Will we get to see Angelina with her date ready for the prom? Do they go in a limo there like in the USA?

@EternallyGod They are in two separate beds not even beside each other. With diabetes, maybe he is jumping up all night to pee, and the wife can't get any rest, so he sleeps out in the living room where the daughter is. There is no sexual tension between them at all.
