  1. That happens a lot at corporations. They give you an extensive personality test with random scenarios and questions. One place asked if you would like to skydive to work at a discount department store. At the phone company, they asked if you saw someone stealing on the job, would you report it. Think about that. Would you report someone taking a pencil home? What do they mean by stealing? Do they want rats and tattle tales running around? How about minding your own business?

  2. There is so much incompetence and corruption at every level of US society. If you do a good job at work they hate you for it. If you are a good tenant they hate you for it. No matter what you do right, if you are kind to people, they hate you for it. They will challenge you for seeing you give money to the homeless. If you stock a free food box, they will stare at you like you are a bum taking from it. No matter what you try to do right, someone is there it destroy it. That is why the whole country is coming apart. They will hide your papers at social security. That isn't just that one office. I have heard of them doing that to delay a new claim. You have to keep calling and calling to check on it if they are delaying. It took a temp to find it and process it before it went through after he said he didn't know why no one was acting on it. They are crazy spiteful people in there and the security guards are on power trips. Oddly enough, I saw a family that just got here from Ukraine waiting for social security service. I wonder if they just hand them the money no problem. From the head librarians, postmasters, cops, you name it, they will find a way to do you a disservice like their job is just a title and they don't have to actually do it properly.
