  3. The last story is a scam to get rid of low income housing and gentrify it for the rich. There are rats even in expensive places like Soho in NYC. You just let loose the stray cats and it is taken care of like Curtis Sliwa said. That isn't an insurmountable problem. Then tires, big deal, that isn't the most toxic thing. Haul off the tires. There are tires parked all over the street, playground surfaces are made from tires, etc. This sounds very petty. Taking those buildings away instead of forcing the repairs by doing it and then billing the landlord is now going to cause a lot people in Chicago to be permanently homeless. You are right about bosses. People would work hard for little pay if they were treated with respect and like they had human rights and dignity and value. These bosses take advantage and then dump you because they don't like you. Their callous attitude makes you resent them, so who would want to work for them and have stress and nightmares besides? Better to be poor than treated like you are never good enough and are worthless basically.
