Senior housing was built to protect seniors and give them a place to live. People used to stay in their homes until they died, but then they were lured to these senior apartments. Now the senior apartments and even assisted living are being liquidated at will. They throw out the tenants as if they are no more than a mice infestation not caring if they die on the street with no more resources. That elderly woman paid like she was buying a house, so how are they going to just say she has no right to stay? They should give her the $250,000 back in that case, adjusted for inflation to $400,000, if they won't honor her tenancy.
