  2. Buy or rent, if you don’t have the money, you can’t do either. At least it takes longer to throw out an owner, and you don’t get an eviction record. I think no one can afford the high rents, so that is why rental housing is being sold off. If you are handy and frugal, I think owning is going to be safer.
