  1. If only 20% of homes are affordable to the middle class making $75-$100k, then what about lower middle class, working class and poor? They can just forget it? What percentage are available to them if they can even get a mortgage? It used to be most neighborhoods were working class or lower middle class to middle class. The really fancy homes were rare. Now most places are filled with huge fancy homes, luxury apartments, and then people homeless or in secret squalor at the hands of unscrupulous landlords. It is like musical chairs. If you managed to get an apartment or home that is decent, you have to stay there because next go round you might get nothing. I feel like the American population is being liquidated so that foreigners and the rich can take over everything. This nonsense about the foreign buyers won't stop much of foreign take overs. I feel like the lower classes who have homes are losing them to the higher insurance costs, rents, taxes, HOA fees and the like. Where are people actually winding up? The homeless American population keeps growing.
