A lot of money is attached to a lot of power. It is like a loaded gun. If you don't use it carefully, someone could get killed. They should teach their children about money management. If they don't get it, put the money in a trust where they can only get a stipend for year for life like the lottery. As far as the new luxury building boom in Miami, that is what the hurricane was for. They wiped out the older more affordable stock, wiped out the homeless, and now can have space for more luxury units. Foreign investors will have ten units while then next wave of the homeless and displaced will be wiped out in the next hurricane. That is their little plan. Same thing with the economy. It is rigged to siphon more and more wealth to the top. Lowering interest rates somehow isn't making more money available to the lower classes. Paying $550 for years on $60,000 isn't that bad at all. Depending on what her interest rate is though.

Having jealous friends can happen to anyone t though even the poor resenting a rental voucher someone else has. They might try to ruin your life and make you homeless over it. I think what they did wrong was look to money to make their life better rather than looking to friends and relationships they already had. Money is a tool, not a god that solves all your problems.
