  1. That is the cheapest thing to make at home. They don't cook the vegetables enough. I gave up on that also. The last two times I got Thai take-out, they used old oil. Very few places offer consistent good quality with an appreciative attitude.

  2. I just got a healthy fast-food meal. Just a vegan burger, side salad and a tea. It was $18!!!! I should have gotten a gourmet meal with leftovers and had three meals for that much. I was mad. It wasn't that good. The ingredients were cheap. A supermarket bun and just regular lettuce mix probably not even organic. The staff wasn't that friendly, shooting looks. The atmosphere wasn't that good, so I took it out. The whole experience was a letdown except the tea for $3 which was good. I went there by accident thinking it was another place that I read was good. There was one other person there and it was in a downtown in a busy city. I don't know how those kinds of places will last. Lunch time on a weekend, and it wasn't busy. They are all too greedy or somewhere along the line expenses are too high. Yelp had over a hundred 5-star reviews. Well, no one is bothering now, I guess. Plus, the parking in the area was $10 for 2 hours, which is too much. With the thought and effort put into these meals, you can do so much better at home for less.

  3. You can run in and grab sliced bread, sliced cheese, sliced meat and make your own sandwich.
