  1. What if you just don't take your pet to a vet? Is that animal abuse? I know of people who buy regular food for the pets and cook for them also. If you have a big dog, that is expensive. They buy them meat and vegetables. I think it is a status symbol the way people walk around with these dogs so proud. Then they get them fancy grooming also. One major problem with a pet is if you are evicted or have to move, it is hard to find a place that takes pets as a rental. Then they charge pet deposits and monthly pet rent if they will take them. It is a huge hassle having a pet really. The vets are trying to get rich off of other people's desperation like everyone else.
