  1. I think it is cool to get luxury items if you enjoy them. If you appreciate what you have, that is what matters. If you try to look poor to make statement or fit in, that is as shallow as trying to look rich. If you have a Coach purse and the confidence to carry it, good for you. If you have nice jewelry, designer clothes, a good car, good for you. Everyone doesn't have to look like a bum or pauper just to signal that they are down to earth. That is even more obnoxious than people having and using nice things. For rich people, looking poor is the thrilling thing, so they do that. For poor people, it is the other way around. Style is for your own enjoyment, not for someone else's checklist of you character. To be satisfied with little is great gain.
