  1. People think trucking is a lucrative job. Corporations are so taking advantage to get rich at the expense of the workforce.

  2. If we run truckers out of business, we won't have cheaper products, we will have no products. The way some truckers drive now is terrifying. They will tailgate, cut you off, speed, and whatever. Then you realize they are losing money and probably mad at the world. We need some regulation to protect workers and the lower classes. Unbridled capitalism is nothing but a predatory system. A seventy-one-year-old man who could be retired and going on cruises with the rest of them is instead still fighting for shelter and rights for the industry he is in. Without labor unions, this country will grind to a halt. The tendency is for the wealthy to enslave the disadvantaged. Who wants to enter an industry like that? Trucking should go back to how it was run before Carter destroyed it. I feel like the country started taking a nosedive when he came to office which has continued ever since. They don't even try to pretend they care about this country. They run it right into the ground.
