  2. Well it is like when they remove trash cans or make the benches uncomfortable, they are messing up the quality of life for everyone. Now there is less room to walk on the sidewalk not to mention an ugly grate sticking up. They say they are anti-homelessness, but what they are is anti-humanity. Instead of wasting money on that, create more affordable housing opportunities. You used to be able to drink a beer in a bag cover on the sidewalk, lie down in a park, sit on steps, and now you can get harassed for these things or fined. It is all in the name of stopping the homeless, but it ends up that everyone is penalized.
