  1. He was under the mind control of a narcissistic abusive mother. He realizes that he was wrong and admitted guilt. I think those are mitigating factors. He acted out of fear of his mother rather than hate for his brother. I would say it was more like manslaughter because he wasn't in touch with his morality due to his own vulnerability. I think I would give him 15 years. He looks ashamed and isn't trying to make excuses or hide what he did. He looks like he didn't know better at the time, but now sees he could have done better and is at a loss. I admit I didn't listen to the whole testimony to know exactly what he did.
