  1. Americans don't trust or like the shelters either. It isn't a matter of wanting to be on drugs, it is a matter of being dehumanized and endangered. If all these people want to eat is to cook some Spanish style rice, why don't the caterers make that? That is cheap to mix oil, tomatoes and rice and give it to them. They don't want the weird synthetic food that Americans eat. I guess if you invite someone as your guest, they have a right to say what they want. They are not now your slaves at your mercy. If you don't want to cater to them, tell them. Tell them they don't deserve privacy, a full shower, or whatever, so they have to leave. If I was invited into a home, and someone was serving me food I can't eat, I have a right to speak up and say so. If they want to watch me sleep, I have a right to ask for privacy and to lock my door. If I want to take a shower and they turn off the water after five minutes, I have a right to say that I didn't have enough time. You can't act like you are helping and saving people and then disrespect them.
