  1. An original Frieda Khalo painting is worth a lot. Maybe hundreds of thousands. She should have it appraised and insured. She could sell it to a museum or investor or even the state of Mexico. I hope no one breaks in and takes it now.

  2. I think she bounced back once she had a nice affordable place to live. People end up on drugs and mentally off from the stress of homelessness.

  3.  @katella  Frieda did do self portraits about that size. It looks like a nice painting. The colors are very vibrant.
