  2. I think this luxury section 8 is a set up. If section 8 is ever defunded, which Trump might do, then these people will be out. It won't be a stepping stone for them, they are a place holder until the building complex can jack up the rent as the landlord's stepping stone. I think section 8 just needs to be basic housing not all this luxury. If everyone had something basic available, there wouldn't be such a shortage. It was better when there was public housing. Not all of it is run poorly. It gave everyone a chance at a basic lifestyle. I don't see her being a doctor or a medical school professor from her EMT position. She basically has no job since she quit EMT. I guess she gets money for her children? You don't have to act like you are above everyone else on section 8. Some people are stuck on it for life, and it is a lifesaver. This whole concept of weeding out the riff raff, lots of people constantly being moved out, that is a red flag for me. I think they give these people a foot in the door and then find something wrong with them and push them back out. How do they decide who is riff raff? Is one day your apartment too messy, are you walking around in the wrong outfit, did some snobby trouble maker take offense to you? It could be anything. Then you won't be able to rent another place either because the complex will be a bad reference.
