  1. Take all the benefits you can because really, what else is there when they have taken all the opportunities from you? You can also get lists of food banks and soup kitchens and look for the free sidewalk pantries you can use anonymously. You have to scramble when you are poor, but there is no shame in it. If you see any chance to get ahead, take it.

  2. I think the boss in Kentucky is behind that guy who worked for him going to prison. He probably thought of him as a slave trying to run away to his family in CA, so he had some drunk go pick a fight with him. I want to know if he made it out of jail. That is such a pathetic story. Why didn't the boss just arrange for the mother and two girls to come stay in KY in the trailer with the husband? He would rather just complain that all the guy talks about is his family and that he wished he had more workers like him. That guy was totally taken advantage of, for what reason I don't know. The reason so many are homeless is because there is so much greed, evil and selfishness in this country. People are competitive and like to see others down while throwing them just enough help and sympathy to keep them down. The compassion is shallow and insincere if offered at all. I really hope that guy gets out of prison if he did get locked up. The courts are so crooked. What chance does the mother and two girls have now with him locked up besides. At least the Disney family had a home together. Maybe if they ate less, they would save some money and be able to get maybe a small house, but really any more, there is just no affordable housing left.
