  1. I hunted down the full reply and this is taken way out of context. He was in a heated answer about cyberspace and why the US won't negotiate with Russia to prevent any hacking from going on. He said that whoever might have hacked the elections weren't working with the Russian government but were private Russian citizens, maybe even Tatars, Jews, Ukrainians or people with Green cards and dual citizenship. He was getting a little wild but it was really an offhand remark buried in a lengthy point he was making. Is the problem that Americans don't have enough patience to try to make sense of a full answer but just react to segments? Then they judge based on their reactions to those parts? That isn't using very good critical thinking. Is David really the propagandist here?   2. At the 49:11 mark in the version I saw, Putin was giving the full answer. It seemed to be part of a long commentary about the US refusing to negotiate a cyberspace treaty with Russia. It seemed like an offhand remark suggesting that these people might have been paid by the US government to do this because maybe they have dual citizenship or a green card.

  3. Didn't Hilary herself hack the elections by shoving Bernie Sanders out of the picture? Putin was making the point that US society in general is in chaos, so why blame the Russians for it? Hilary is running around free but the US wants Russia to extradite oligarchs who they accuse of hacking. He says he won't do it because they didn't break Russian laws, and the US won't extradite people to Russia either. Everything he says is so reasonable sounding, it is hard to believe he would mean something so bizarre as Jews hacked the elections.

  4. Being Jewish is a genetic subset of humanity, so you can call it a race. I don't know anything about who the US gives money to. It seems to be giving money to everyone but Americans and our lenders.

  5. He does have a kind of dark weird sense of humor though. I heard him say other things that were supposed to be wry and ironic and it was hard to make sense of them. I think he did reach out to Israel and Netanyahu in the past and say things in defense of Israel, despite Israel even now supporting ISIS in Syria which he is fighting to protect. I am not sure I would say this is anti-Semitic. It is a red flag to me, but I would need more evidence. I won't totally judge someone over a bad joke here and there. The Jews can be overly sensitive to people just making stupid remarks. The weird thing is how he threw in Tatars and Ukrainians, as if any ethnic minority would be suspect or wouldn't be considered really Russian. That does sound a little like Stalin and his kind of ethnic cleansing programs where millions died and were tortured and imprisoned. It does make you wonder. He is awfully close to the Russian Orthodox church which was close with the communists also. Are they twisting his mind toward the same bent as Stalin? You have to be careful not to judge someone based on your own fears and prejudices. I don't think someone being Russian or non Jewish makes them automatically an enemy to Jews and Americans. He might not have the same sensitivity as someone who isn't these things. It could be he was just very annoyed with Megyn Kelly and wanted to say something annoying back to her. She had a very condescending tone to her as if he knows he is wrong but won't admit it. Maybe he meant if you are going to wildly blame people, blame someone else.
