  1. Why is his gigantic ex roommate suddenly scared of him when he said Danelo was shy, hardworking, and minded his own business? Is he afraid of being associated with him or of having a police army at his door? I guess they weren't friends, and the roommate thing didn't work out. Maybe Danelo wound up homeless, and he wanted the girlfriend to take him in and she said no, so that is why he stabbed her. People do go crazy when they are faced with homelessness. We never hear his side of the story or what his defense was.
