  2. Menendez is an honest politician. If he was head of a committee sending arms to Egypt, it was probably to help protect them from another Arab Spring. There were other Senators agreeing with him, he didn't just rob them money and use it for himself. His wife is Egyptian, so she probably understands what the politics are like there. They were in upheaval for a long time. As far as having a Mercedes and gold bars, do you think any Senate politicians are actually poor or can't pay their mortgage? What kind of evidence is that? He facilitated a friend of the family's business as a halal exporter to NJ. Is that really taking a bribe? Maybe there is a demand for that in Patterson or Elizabeth. Did he shut anyone out of this endeavor? It is not like the US government is buying Halal meat from Egypt. I think this is a set up. I think he isn't taking the side of causing wars but of using the money to stop wars. What about all the money and lives wasted on Ukraine? They are voting for that, and it has to stop before we are in a war with Russia and her allies like China.
