  1. Biden won't let him go. The establishment wants to use Peltier as a human sacrifice like they do rituals with Geronimo's skull.

  2. The lady wants to see what it means for Indian country. In other words, if they will demand the Black hills back that the government has no intention of giving them. Peltier is a political prisoner, and politicians are about politics. If it is only symbolic, they might let him out. If they see it as a real victory for Native rights, that is probably going to be seen as giving them too much hope and spirit to fight for more rights.
