That would be a nice gesture for Thanksgiving to let out the head of the Indian movement when he didn't even get a fair trial and there was an invasion of their reservation and shoot out anyway. I think Leonard was framed and maybe the US government shot those FBI agents just to have a reason to take Leonard out of his community. They don't like Native Americans having a strong and independent voice. Meanwhile, Indians from all over the Latin American continents are streaming in after being let out of prisons by their governments. Leonard has been nothing but a voice of peace and hope for his people and an inspiration to all Americans. He wanted to better his community. It is like the Mumia case too. Someone who is too powerful politically in an underground organization gets framed and just taken out of circulation. I am sure they wouldn't care if he died in prison. They wanted to throw away the key when they arrested him. I suppose they think there is no way Trump would pardon him. Maybe Kim Kardashian could work her negotiation skills and get him out the way she did for people involved in drug cases.
