  1. My mother (Bridge with Jean Cox) and Julia both filmed seasons of their shows in the "old old" WQED building, on 5th ave, in Oakland, back in the '60s. Above ground, the building looks like a chess "rook". I met Julia, when I was 12, along with Fred Rogers, also recording his show there at the time. My mom was friends with everyone. And-yes. Julia was an authentic spy, though I did not learn this until recently.
