  2. I am gladdened and flattered to hear this episode. Here's how I looked at the situation when I saw Phil DeFranco's spin on it: Dear Mister DeFranco: Perhaps, like everything else in the corporate world, this new trend is not about its obvious features. Have you considered that this might be simple corporate infighting; in other words, a game between billionaires, using you and other creators as pawns? An argument can be made that organized team and competitive sports is a war between the Owners and the Mob, with the Bookies and the Point Spread the weapons employed. From that perspective (which I share because of a lot of experience with bookies and folks who use them), I might suggest that any such conflict is merely another Game of Financial Thrones between said billionaires and you major creators/posters are, individually, ciphers of little importance. So do what any savvy folks in danger of disenfranchisement do in times of trouble: organize and present a unified front against being treated like farm animals. Make them heed your words by organizing, en masse, and scare them into realizing that, so organized, the dog might just end up wagging the tail for a change, instead of the other way 'round. Just sayin' . . . And thanks for posting. PS: I admit to being entertained by your posts and would hate to see you and other interesting creators banished to "free" land so that preferred advertisers can promote their favorites in your place. That will only lead to obesity in the advertisers (many of whom are already at risk by being fatheads-I mean, who ELSE would try and pull this stuff on us), and we don't want them to die of Heart Disease . . . do we? That would make us bad people . . . like the ones trying to squeeze you out of the way.
