  3. My perspective on the 1929 crash: Foreclosed mortgages and who bought them all up for a song after the crash is an avenue worth research. The loss of property, and its subsequent concentration into the hands of a very few, lends credence to the existence of the various theories of conspiracy. Among these is the idea that the collapse was a designed land grab, set up and executing in ways that would be considered criminal today (insider trading and conspiracy/intent to defraud). I doubt that German financiers were consulted before the order went out to report (falsely, as it turned out) runs on the banks. German financiers and tycoons were victims, all right, but not singled out for punitive economic tactics.
