  1. Wow. Goering smoking a stogie beside the Chancellor. That sort of thing was already on the outs. Hitler's aversion to smoking in his presence became a trope in later years.

  3. Liked and shared. Sounds like the IOC had its share of knee jerk racists, too. It was a dark episode in human history . . . not the first. Nor would it be the last, sad to say. And an observation: if this is the best humanity can do, it seems obvious that evolution has, for us, at least, peaked. Oh well. Coffee break is over. Back on your heads, boys!
