  1. About the F-16s instead of JF17 deal: the F16s were a lot cheaper, true; but that's because they weren't new builds. The JF17s, for all their flaws, were new builds and so the air frames are likely in far better condition, other factors equal. Engines go bad you replace them. Airframes go bad and the aircraft is written off.
