  2. Always interesting. The accusation goes back to the 1920s, of course. Soviet war on Poland. Polish war on the Soviets. Reservoirs of unspent Bellicosity fueled the idiocy of the times. Stalin's greatest failure . . . as a commander. Turning the narrative around helps everyone . . . except Poland. Unsure, but the Poles might've gotten the worst rap ever. Popped like a national identity (which was itself cursed by a scheming, mutually immiscible, nobility) pimple between the fingers of acquisitive powers. A generation of Polish intelligencia murdered. A Soviet epoch of incredibly harmful industrial activity. A generation of schoolchildren (and a national ecology) poisoned by heavy metals.
