Great video and thanks for posting it, Forgotten Weapons! An excellent primer on one of the great personal weapons of the WW2 era. If I were Para or Falschirm I would much prefer this in my hands to the Sten or M3, neither of which had any kind of long range utility. The basic idea is to have the right weapon in the right place at the right time and, if your unit has separate LMG for long range and interdiction fire, augmenting a much shorter range "trench broom" for close combat, and a few further sniper rifles, you might not have the right one in your hands for the immediate tactical need. With the FJ42 every Falschirm has a combo AR, LMG, and Sniper Rifle in his hands.
