  1. Grilled pineapple and cheese sandwiches are great. The best bologna sandwiches are made with bologna cooked burnt, not must when the edges curl up. Burnt bologna. Same with hotdogs. Split them down the middle, fry or grill til it gets a little burnt.

  2. I sauté mushrooms in a little butter and some seasonings for my grilled cheese. Spread the mayo on the outside of the bread instead of butter. Use a mustard and hot sauce mixture with havarti and Muenster cheeses with the mushrooms in between the cheese slices. That’s a great basic grilled cheese. You can add bacon and anything you think sounds good, like roast chicken, deli ham. Possibilities are endless.
