I’ll pray for you, Maurice. I’m so sorry this is now your burden, and I pray for it to be lightened. Give it to Jesus to carry, and know that He is always with you. I’ve had debilitating migraines from age 11-12. I’m a girl, so no football history. But I do know about migraines my entire life and I’m pushing 70 now. I’m so sorry for this, and for others. Like so many I’ve been a huge football fan since I was little, but after learning all this, for Bennet Omalu finding CTE, my fandom reduced drastically the last several years. People practice idolatry and worship at the altar of almighty football, and it’s all so wrong. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you, Maurice.

It’s not a game. It’s as barbaric as the Roman coliseums were. Now that NIL has taken over there’s really no such thing as CFB. HS will be CFB level and I look for NIL to reach into these junior HS kids. It’s pathetic, and I grew up loving CFB. I don’t get excited about it anymore. I see it for what it is. Kids are dying or going to be vegetables by age thirty and it’s all about the money. I see that megachurch pastor in Arkansas (Shiloh) in the middle of that HS football (the Christian Saints ??!) and it makes me sick. They’re worshipping football and playing at church for money to funnel into their football. Pathetic.

This is the only thing in this life that’s important, the giving of ourselves to Jesus Christ. Eternal salvation is our promise in the hope of this life. God gives everyone the choice, free will to choose. Too many make the wrong choice and don’t accept Him. Jesus saves. He gave His life for all; the rest is up to us.

The Taliban ran the Soviets into the ground before they limped back over the border in their last few remaining vehicles. Now after twenty useless years of wasted good lives of Americans and allied troops, the Taliban is taking over in short order on the dust of those departing troops. Every time I pump gas I know I’m pumping into my tank the very lifeblood of all those people lost, including family and friends. God bless America, yes, but God help America. I shiver to think what’s next because O’Biden is going to get us into the fray again, this time in the Middle East, which is on the verge of exploding. Covert boots have been on the ground already for years. That place is about to blow sky high. Oh yeah: anybody remember the Afghanis on all the media begging and pleading for “Amrika” to “please come help” them - then they turned on “Amrika” in the blink of an eye? Like it was yesterday, I remember it.
