You don’t read, do you?

Do you ever read books? Ones without pictures? What about the history that has no photographs or films, only the words. Do you understand words, the meanings of words? Or do you need someone to draw pictures for you?

@a.s.clifton544 Thank you for your service. I still will never understand people who hear “murdered” and how yet become indignant over not seeing the carnage. My soulmate served his entire life (USMC Fox2/1) and he never wanted to see carnage again. Though it did visit him in his ‘nightscapes,’ and I too lived with ghosts. Death is death, carnage is carnage; people could see something and still not believe it. I’ve read my entire life, and through books I see, hear and smell. Maybe I’m different. I grew up not seeing, just reading. And I often wonder what blind people think about people needing to see and becoming upset when they’re denied. I suppose my imagination through books has made me different. I forget some people are desensitized, or have a need to ‘see’ although the words are there. Thank you again for your service.

@thomasnewton8997 Hi Thomas, do you have the titles? Like Swellington (we travel in the same audiobook on yt), I’d like to read about this as I have nothing about it in my books, and possibly the DVD is a documentary that might be streaming on something. Thanks, Myra

Hey Swellington, I just found ‘Auschwitz of the Balkans’ by Gideon Greif, and also a movie ‘Dara of Jasenovac’ as a rental on Amazon, yt, google and a couple of others. I’m going to look on Tubi, they have a lot to f docs on there. I keep a ton of them on my list. More books I found online too just now. I typed ‘jasenovac’ and books, dvd, movie. Stuff pops up.
