Masks may slow some transmissions but they do not stop a virus like covid, not unless you get the right kind of mask, and I don’t think they’re sold to the public. They’re expensive. The first line of defense is skin - proper hand washing, cover any breaks in the skin; keep your skin intact. Still, if the virus is strong enough and it’s on something you get, you can get sick. Not trying to ruin your day further, just sharing some facts. It’s going to come to people making their own masks when we can get what we need to make proper ones. What gets me is (and I love CFB) people who are going to games when they can get tickets. No outbreaks among those people or the players. Interesting, don’t you think? Frankly all this is heading towards ‘Captain Trips,’ from ‘The Stand,’ except it’s got darker implications. That’s all that Stephen King left out - the how and where. But do wash your hands and use wipes on anything you touch in public places if you live somewhere that has a lot of cases. I think spring is going to be bad, in many ways.
